The Power To Get Wealth

There is nothing more powerful than the word of God, the blessings of God manifesting in our lives.

However, sometimes we’re so focused on what we want, what the blessing should look like, and how we think it should happen that we miss what God is doing in our lives.

And for this reason, we can't see the blessings of the Lord manifested in our lives.

We’re looking for the wealth.

But God said, I have given you the power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18 KJV). He has given us the ability to get the wealth. So while we’re looking for wealth to fall into our laps, the gifts and talents that He has given us; the ability that He has given us...go unused.

I know sometimes it’s difficult. I know sometimes it’s hard.

I know we struggle to stay focused. We struggle to remain obedient. We struggle to stay faithful. And I also know that we don't see blessing manifesting because we don’t understand the plans and purposes of God for our lives. But I want to tell you that as long as you stay focused, as long as you remain obedient, and as long as you stay faithful, God will reveal His plans and purposes to you.

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

Isaiah 55:11 KJV

His word will not return to Him void.

The word may appear to be void, empty, powerless, and/or unfulfilled because it’s not accomplishing what we want it to accomplish. But the word isn’t void, it isn’t empty, it isn’t powerless, and/or unfulfilled. You see, the problem is that we want the word to accomplish what we want it to accomplish. But that’s not going to happen.

His word will accomplish what He established it to accomplish.

His word is filled with His promises. It is accomplished in His timing. And it accomplishes what He wants it to accomplish.

How is it that we’re not seeing the word of God accomplished or manifested in our lives?

Well, the word is being accomplished…we just don’t see it. We don’t see the purpose.

For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

Isaiah 55:10 KJV

When God sends the rain and the snow, it accomplishes its purpose by watering the ground, which allows the seeds that have been planted to come forth.

Do we just see the rain and snow…with no purpose?

Have you planted any seeds in order for them to grow from the rain that the Lord has sent?

I want to share a testimony with you:

A young man shared with me how he had been writing everyday and how so many times he had gotten discouraged and wanted to stop (because he didn’t see any point to what he was doing). But he felt lead to keep doing it, so he pressed. And after about a year, the Lord revealed to Him that what he had been writing...was the book the Lord was birthing in him.

I just want to encourage you today: Don’t give up! No matter how hard it gets, don’t stop doing what you’re doing. In due season you will reap a harvest. Stay focused on what God has called you to do. Don’t look to the left or to the right; put your blinders on and look straight ahead. Keep your eyes stayed on Jesus. He’s doing a work in you and through you.

You may not understand it, but God has a purpose and a plan for your life.

He’s allowing you to exercise your power; your ability to get wealth.

He’s enabling you to get the wealth.

This is the will of God concerning you.
