Build An Ark

In a vision...

I saw Noah building the ark.

The interpretation of the vision...

The Lord said, “We have to be diligent, work day and night; without ceasing...until the promise comes.”

There are many of you who are expecting God to do something for you; heal, deliver, and set you free. And just like Noah, God is saying that He wants a long-term commitment from you, to do for you what you want Him to do. Therefore, we must take a page from Noah's notebook: Noah was faithful, obedient, he believed God, and did exactly as God commanded him to do - then he was saved; delivered from the impending flood upon the earth.

There are several things that we must take note of when it comes to the promises of God:

He was very specific about what He was going to do.

He was very specific about why He was going to do it.

He was very specific about when the flood would come.

He was very specific about how long it would last.

He was very specific about His instructions to build the ark. And...

He was very specific about who was to enter in.

We serve a God who is concerned about every detail, the specifics, every aspect of our lives. He is in the details. Therefore, your deliverance is going to require obedience unto Him, which means you'll have to commit long-term so that deliverance will come forth in your life.

Deliverance is not about a quick, easy, and/or painless fix. It’s about God keeping your feet from stumbling so that you may be able to walk upright before Him. It’s about allowing Him to have His way with you and doing in you what He wants to do. It’s about getting you to a place in Him that will accomplish His purpose in the earth.

"Come to me. Trust me," says the Lord. So if you want God to heal, deliver, and set you free, seek His face. It’s going to require you to be patient and wait on the Lord. God’s promise is to those who wait on Him, trust in Him, and His timing. His timing is perfect. Everything you need is in Him; He has already made a way for you...you’ve got the victory!

Like Noah, the first thing you’ve got to do is start building. He started preparing for that which God promised; deliverance by being obedient to the Lord’s commands. Obedience is preparation for the blessings. Be diligent, work day and night; without ceasing...until the promise comes.” Remove yourself from that situation, relationship, and/or environment. And meditate on the Word of God day and night. Immerse yourself in His presence. And He’ll do just what He said He’ll do.

The scripture tells us that Noah did everything as the LORD commanded him.

Will you?

This is the will of God concerning you.
